VA Breslau Underground - to pierwsze wydawnictwo ukazujące się nakładem [punkt]rec. Jest to kompilacja, majaca w swoich założeniach pokazywać kondycję artystyczną undergroundowego elektronicznego brzmienia miasta nad Odrą. Ma ona również promować wrocławskich twórców i producentów szeroko pojętej elektoniki, nie tylko klubowej ale i eksperymentalnej.
Autorami wszystkich produkcji składających się na VA Breslau Underground, są mieszkający we Wrocławiu producenci, występujący z różną częstotliwością nie tylko w lokalnych klubach, ale również w klubach całej Polski. Obok utworów doświadczonych producentów posiadających solowe wydawnictwa, w sklad albmu wchodzą produkcje młodych, rozpoczynających swoją przygodę z twórczością artystów dla których kompilacja ta jest swego rodzaju premierą wydawniczą.
Album zaskakuje różnością form i gatunków muzyki elektrónicznej; od breakbeatowego d'n'b, przez techhouse, minimal, aż po techno, dub czy electro-gotyckie eksperymenty brzmieniowe. Różnorodność ta sprawia iż poznajemy w miarę pełny obraz undergroundowej sceny muzyki elektronicznej, ale co chyba ważniejsze, widzimy to, w jaki sposób Wrocław inspiruje do zabawy dzwiękiem i elektroniką, i w jaki sposób miasto oddziaływuje na twórczość lokalnych producentów.
Trzy utwory kompilacji zostały poświęcone pamięci zmarłemu 15.03.2011 Tsutomu Katoh, założycielowi i wieloletniemu prezesowi firmy KORG, na której instrumentach pracują twórcy, utwórów wchodzących w skład wydawnictwa.

"Moombahton is mid-tempo global bass music for the universe. It's a sonic marriage of electronic dance music (house, techno, and dubstep) with latin/island music (reggeaton, cumbia, and dancehall) that flows at a pace of about 108 beats per minute. Originally, moombahton started by Dave Nada slowing down tropical and dutch house records and re-edited them to sound like reggaeton's weird little cousin. Because the tempo nears that of reggaeton, Nada created the neologism "Moombahton" by combining the title of the track "Moombah" by DJ Chuckie & Silva Cuomo and the "ton" ending of the word "reggaeton" and applied it to the new genre. Moombahton continues to grow worldwide as producers and DJ's push the music in exciting new ways."
